We worden wakker van de regen, dat zat er gisteren al een beetje aan te komen. Het is een buitje van niks en al snel is het weer droog. Na het ontbijt begint het weer, alleen nu iets heviger. De dansgroep die zich net buiten had opgesteld voor de laatste dansochtend, komt noodgedwongen in het restaurant oefenen wat dus veel leven in de brouwerij brengt. Ze worden namelijk begeleid door 5 trommelaars die in een opzwepend ritme spelen, het is leuk om te zien en te horen. Geīnspireerd hierdoor spreken we met Annelies af dat wij, behalve Henry, om 16 .00 uur trommelles krijgen. Het weer blijft tot een uur of drie bewolkt en de dag wordt verder gevuld met lezen en hangen. Er is niet echt meer iets te doen want we gaan donderdag met Kendal naar twee dingen die we vanuit hier nog willen bezoeken. Gelukkig hebben we allemaal een goed boek dus de dag komt toch wel om. Om 16.15 uur start de trommelles en in het begin is het best wel lastig om het ritme te pakken te krijgen. Eva heeft de smaak zo te pakken dat ze niet meer kan stoppen nadat de les is afgelopen. Volgens onze leraar kunnen we optreden vanavond, wij denken daar anders over en doen dat dus maar niet. Tijdens het eten is er erg veel leven in de brouwerij want er is een groep van 31 personen van een weeshuis neergestreken, 20 kinderen en de rest begeleiding. De vrijwilligers vanuit dit project strijken hier vaak voor een aantal dagen neer nadat zij klaar zijn met hun vrijwiligerswerk. Nu vonden ze het eens leuk om met een aantal kinderen hier heen te komen. Nu de dansgroep weg is dreigde het toch wel stil te worden maar die vlieger gaat niet op. De avond wordt gevuld met lezen en rummikubben. Niet echt een spannende dag.

Ik zit snotverkouden binnen. David heeft foto’s op zijn FB gezet van de vlaggen die nu staan en heeft mij foto’s gemaild van Abigails kamer die nu een kast heeft.
